Oyo Waste Summit is organized to discuss & proffer practical solutions & take bold actions on topical & technical environmental issues in Waste Management, Circular Economy, and Sustainability.
Held annually in September, the summit brings together top Government Officials, recyclers & upcyclers across various waste streams, Circular Economists, State Consultants, Private Sector Players, academicians, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), Corporate Organizations looking to achieve their EPR or CSR, foreign diplomats, and enthusiasts.

A two-day event in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment & Natural Resources and Recycledge, focused on plastic waste and proper waste management. Day 1 was held at the Oyo State Secretariat with the Deputy Governor as Keynote Speaker, concluding on Day 2 with a 3-kilometer clean-up walk from Dugbe (Cocoa-House) to Mokola.
Fashion Waste & Trashion Runway
A one-day event centered on developing an outcome-oriented approach to waste discussions at the University of Ibadan. Keynote speaker Prof. Aina Adeogun led conversations on fashion waste, highlighted by a stunning Trashion (Trash + Fashion) runway show.
